White Noise is an album of recordings of daily events I come across. All the recordings are ordinary and simple, they are just sounds in your everyday life. Cars passing, birds singing, people talking. Under the quick tempo of modern lifestyle, people are often on their phones checking emails or the stock market, we are so focused that our brains start to automatically neglect the surroundings.
Recording and listening to the records was a really weird experience. You get to ask yourself a lot “When did I even hear this?” or “Who was that talking?" I believe that through my artwork, people can recall the their relationship with the community and the city.
